Community Guidelines

I want nevixon.com to feel calm, welcoming, and useful. These guidelines explain how I host conversation here so that everyone can learn, share, and feel safe. By commenting on the blog or interacting with my social channels, you agree to follow these standards.

Kindness First

Treat other readers as guests in your own home. Speak plainly and kindly. I welcome different points of view, but I do not publish comments that attack people, target groups, or use insulting language. Honest critique of ideas is welcome when it is specific, respectful, and aimed at helping others make better choices.

Stay On Topic

Comments should relate to the article, the project, or the question being asked. If you have a new idea or a different room to discuss, start a fresh comment and give enough context so others can follow. I remove off topic messages that distract from the conversation or derail a thread into unrelated debates.

Share Experience, Not Personal Data

You are free to describe what worked in your home, but please avoid posting private information about yourself or others. Do not share addresses, phone numbers, order numbers, or any sensitive details. If you need help with something that requires private information, email me instead so I can respond without exposing your data.

Respect Creators And Sources

Credit matters. If you reference a maker, photographer, or article, include the name and where you found it in plain text. I edit or remove comments that share images without permission or that misattribute someone’s work. If you believe a credit on the site is incomplete or inaccurate, write to editorial@nevixon.com and I will review it quickly.

No Harassment, Hate, Or Misinformation

I do not allow harassment, threats, hate speech, or the promotion of violence. I also remove content that spreads medical, legal, or safety misinformation. This blog is for interiors and the everyday practice of making a home. Conversations that endanger others or distort facts do not belong here.

Links And Self Promotion

Thoughtful links that expand the topic are welcome when they are relevant and safe to visit. Pure advertising, repetitive promotions, and affiliate or referral links posted by readers will be removed. If you are a brand or creator who would like to collaborate, email partnerships@nevixon.com rather than posting promotional comments.

Constructive Disagreement

Disagreement can be helpful when it is specific and grounded in real experience. If you disagree, explain what you tried, what result you saw, and why you would recommend a different path. Avoid judgments about taste or lifestyle. The goal is to help readers choose what fits their own rooms, not to win an argument.

Accessibility And Inclusive Language

Write clearly so that many people can follow along. If you describe colors, materials, or layouts, include practical details such as light conditions or room size so readers using screen readers or translations can benefit. Avoid stereotypes and language that excludes people. If you notice an accessibility issue on the site, tell me at accessibility@nevixon.com.

Moderation And Edits

I moderate comments to keep the space respectful and on topic. I may correct typos for clarity, trim duplicate links, or move a comment to a more relevant thread. I delete spam and harmful content without notice. Repeated violations may result in blocking a user from commenting. If your comment does not appear, it may be in a queue; feel free to email hello@nevixon.com if you have a question about moderation.

Safety And DIY Limits

Please remember that this is a personal blog, not professional instruction. If a comment encourages unsafe practices or suggests technical work that should be handled by a licensed professional, I will edit or remove it. Share what you tried, but include safety notes and boundaries so other readers are not put at risk.

Reporting Problems

If you see a comment that violates these guidelines, contains broken links, or miscredits a creator, let me know at community@nevixon.com. Include the page link and a brief description of the issue. I review reports as quickly as I can and I will follow up when action is taken.

Changes To These Guidelines

Community needs evolve as the site grows. I may update these guidelines to reflect new features or lessons learned. The latest version will always appear on this page. Significant updates will include an effective date near the top of the page.
